Job Description:
Qualification:
- Actively engage in sales trading activities for Indian equities, futures, and options, providing liquidity solutions and seamless execution for institutional clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, asset managers, and family offices, focusing on Indian market participants.
- Execute and manage client orders efficiently across listed and OTC derivatives, ensuring best execution, competitive pricing, and adherence to risk management protocols.
- Provide clients with real-time market updates, trading strategies, and insights into Indian equity and derivatives markets.
- Collaborate with internal teams (research, trading, and risk management) to structure and deliver tailored solutions to clients.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while executing trades and engaging with clients.
Qualification:
- MBA, master's in finance, Financial Engineering or similar from a top-tier institution.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales trading, preferably covering Indian equities, futures, and derivatives.
- Strong understanding of equity derivatives (options strategies, total return swaps, P-notes, structured notes).
- Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or equivalent will be an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of the Indian stock market, trading regulations, execution strategies, and key institutional players.
- Established relationships with institutional clients in Asia, particularly those trading Indian markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, with the ability to provide strategic insights to clients.
- Strong proficiency in risk management and regulatory compliance related to equity derivatives trading.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional Asian languages is a plus.
