The School of Biological Sciences (SBS), part of the College of Science, was established in 2002 with a mission to advance biological and biomedical sciences. We are looking for a Research Assistant to implement AI-based bioinformatics in proteomics. The role will focus on applying machine-learning in unraveling dark proteome and harmonization of existing proteomics data.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI-based analysis for proteomics data
• Data analysis for the research group and other collaborating groups
• Author academic publications
• Work on LC-MS
• Compose reports to PI and presents results in group meeting

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Bioinformatics or related field
• At least 4 of relevant experiences in Bioinformatics, Machine Learning.
• Familiarity with coding, LC-MS, and machine learning
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in common programming languages, numeric and analytical skill
• Competent information visualization, interaction design
• Ability to work independently / develop solutions under strict timelines
