About the role
We are seeking a meticulous and dependable Payroll Officer to join our team in Singapore. You will be responsible for all aspects of payroll processing in APAC and will be working closely with our Group Payroll Manager based in the UK.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Monthly payroll, salary and overtime accruals journals completed and posted to general ledger
• Collaborate closely and maintain a strong working relationship with payroll providers to ensure the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll
• Perform regular audits and reconciliations of payroll data to ensure accuracy providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements
• Respond promptly and accurately to employee payroll-related inquiries, addressing concerns and resolving issues effectively
• Collaborate with PT to maintain accurate employee records and ensure seamless integration of payroll data with other systems
• Reconcile monthly payroll tax filings completed by payroll provider and ensure timely processing of payment against deadlines
• Stay up to date with changes in APAC payroll regulations and proactively implement necessary updates or process improvements
• Conduct regular analysis of payroll reports provided by the external payroll provider, verify the records and information in the output file is accurate
• Adhering to company processes such as RCM
• Liaising with our financiers for funds management purposes
