About the role

This is an exciting and varied position and will see you develop and implement accounting strategies and plans for Singapore. You will work closely with the Group Financial Controller and Group Payroll Manager based in the UK.

You will be working in a highly motivated, sociable team and joining a company that is growing at a phenomenal rate internationally, bringing with it many exciting new opportunities.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monthly payroll, salary and overtime accruals journals completed and posted to general ledger

• Weekly bank reconciliation, ensuring all debit and credits are balanced on Dynamics

• Preparation of monthly GST returned. Including a review of GST transactions & a GST to turnover reconciliation

• Assisting in formulating budgetary and accounting policies and recommend reviews applicable for Singapore

• Review of general ledger to identify future dated transactions posted. Preparation of journals to post adjustments to the general ledger. Final reconciliation of the prepayment balance sheet account

• Collaborate closely and maintain a strong working relationship with payroll provider to ensure the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll

• Perform regular audits and reconciliations of payroll data to ensure accuracy providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements

• Respond promptly and accurately to employee payroll-related inquiries, addressing concerns and resolving issues effectively

• Collaborate with PT to maintain accurate employee records and ensure seamless integration of payroll data with other systems

• Preparation of all documents requested by the tax advisors during the completion of the Annual corporation tax return. Final review of return before it is filed

• Monthly Payroll Reconciliations, ensuring all reconciling items have a reason or resolution

• Reconcile monthly payroll tax filings completed by payroll provider and ensure timely processing of payment against deadlines

• Stay up to date with changes in Singapore payroll regulations and proactively implement necessary updates or process improvements

• Conduct regular analysis of payroll reports provided by the external payroll provider, verify the records and information in the output file is accurate

• Adhering to company processes such as RCM

• Liaising with our financiers for funds management purposes
