Regional Expansion Manager - Japanese Market (Singapore & Southeast Asia)

Overview

We are looking for a driven and bilingual professional to take on a key role in managing our serviced office operations and leading a new business division that supports Japanese companies expanding into Singapore and the broader Southeast Asian market. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a multicultural environment, understands Japanese business culture, and is passionate about helping clients navigate new markets successfully.

Key Responsibilities

• Serviced Office Operations & Sales
  Manage daily operations of our serviced office (tenant relations, facilities, logistics)
  Drive sales and marketing efforts to attract new tenants (Japanese and non-Japanese clients)
  Support prospective clients with tours, onboarding, and inquiries
• New Business Development (Overseas Expansion Support)
  Lead sales and marketing activities for the new business division supporting Japanese clients entering SEA markets
  Conduct market research, generate leads, and build pipelines of Japanese companies interested in SEA expansion
  Coordinate and deliver business support services including:
  Sales representation and partner outreach
  Localized marketing activities
  Business matching with local stakeholders
  Translation, interpretation, administrave work and meeting support
  Act as a key contact for Japanese corporate clients, understanding their challenges and proposing solutions
  Collaborate with external partners, consultants, and internal teams to execute projects effectively
  Contribute to the growth strategy and service improvement of the new business

Requirements

• Business-level fluency in both Japanese and English
• Strong understanding of Japanese corporate culture and business practices
• Prior work experience in or with Japanese companies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive and independent problem-solver
• Experience in business development, client management, or project coordination

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Singaporean and Southeast Asian business environments
• Experience launching or growing new business initiatives
• Cross-cultural negotiation or international client-facing experience

Location

Central Singapore (Serviced Office)
Primarily office-based. Hybrid work may be considered depending on responsibilities.

Employment Type

Full-time employee (with probation period)

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:50 AM - 6:00 PM (including a 1 hour 10-minute break)
Fixed working hours with some flexibility based on business needs.

Salary

Commensurate with experience and qualifications (negotiable)
