RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review internal policies and internal control processes to improve operations and risk Management.

• Implement legal policy by participating in the following aspects:

• Definition of the legal strategy at Group level;
• Definition of the means necessary for the application of the legal strategy;

Apply, within the Group's organizational structure, the strategic decisions defined by Management in the matters defined below.

• Provide expertise in all legal areas:

• Law of obligations and more particularly of contracts; Competition law; Corporate law; Media Law;
• Real rights and tenancy law; Settlement of disputes within the company and with regard to third parties; Criminal Law.

• Assist the Chief Legal Officer in supervising the Group's subsidiaries in collaboration with the other lawyers of the service;

• Draft legal documents such ascontracts, statements, agreements, legal notices and possibly follow up on disputes;

• Participate in meetings to provide legal support and advice to upper management that may involve legal issues;

• Participate in the coordination between the various legal consultants in order to ensure the consistency and effectiveness of the various legal actions carried out across the Group.

• Ensure compliance with the internal controls, statutory regulations and other formalities

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Laws or equivalent

• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience or experience in luxury retail industry is a plus

• Prior experience as an in-house counsel will be preferred

• Demonstrates strong collaboration ability with internal team, stakeholders and the business

• Good organisational, prioritisation and time-management skills

• Arbitration and mediation skills

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, attention to detail

• In-depth knowledge of common law and civil law issues and procedures
