ComfortDelGro Insurance Brokers is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of Employee Benefits Manager.

Job Scope and Responsibilities

• Report to the CEO and Head of Broking the primary responsibility of the position is to ensure the profitablity, growth and retention of the retail/commercial accounts.
• Responsible for all the business aspects of the EB account in order to ensure that all risks in relation to employees are adequately covered by insurance or other risk transfer alternatives.
• Motivates, leads and inspires the support team to achieve high standards set for the development and servicing of the assigned EB account.
• Manager and team must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with HR of the assigned accounts, to assist on day-to-day admin, insurance and claim enquiries, and to resolve amicably any complaints that come up along the way.
• To implement and manage the effective delivery of key customer programs including communication/health and wellness strategies, employee roadshows, issue resolutions, claims and regular servicing programmes.
• To conduct Gap analysis and industry or peer benchmarking to ensure client is kept abreast of trends.
• To ensure compliance with corporate governance and all regulatory requirements including complying with MAS rules and regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must possess qualifications in insurance (M5, M9)
• Relevant experience as an insurance broker handling EB portfolio
• Proficiency in Microsoft, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• Able to converse and write in both English and Chinese
• Good team player and able to work independently
