Assistant Project Manager (Retail Design & Architecture)

What we are looking for:
• Planning and delivering construction projects from concept to completion
• Preparing or assisting in the preparation of site assessments, due diligence reports, project control group reports, construction reports and completion reports
• Managing contractors
• Managing co-ordination during construction phases
• Monitoring and managing completion activities, take over and defects
• Monitoring projects in line with those programmes developed by a contractor and approved by client
• Monitoring and actual performance compared with the programme
• Ensuring monitoring, reporting compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
• Ensuring that a system of quality assurance is in place to ensure the production of the construction and administration
Expectations:
• Degree or Diploma equivalent in a construction or Design, Architecture, or related field
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and finishes
• 3 years' experience working in project/site co-ordination in interior project management for carpentry and relevant building and construction management working experience
• Able to plan and manage several projects concurrently
• Proficient in MS Office tools including Word, Excel and Project
• Experience in commercial fit-out essential
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Attention to detail and consistent
