Job Description

• Chiral Polymer Synthesis
• Chiral Nanomaterials Synthesis
• Chiral nanoparticles
• Self-Assembly, particularly self-assembly of chiral nanocrystals
• Mentor PhD students
• Draft grant proposals
• Oversee lab safety

Qualifications

• PhD degree in chemistry, materials science and engineering, or chemical engineering.
• Ample research experience in polymer synthesis (particularly ATRP, RAFT and ROMP), nanomaterials synthesis, and self-assembly of polymers and nanomaterials into hierarchical structures
• Solid background/experience in materials for self-assembly.
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Strong publication record
• Prior undergraduate and master students mentoring experience
