Job Description:

1. Plan, supervise and deliver teaching programme in accordance with the policies and philosophy of MapleBear

2. Implement prescribed curriculum and prepare necessary teaching resources

3. Keep accurate records of children's progress and address children's educational and developmental needs individually

4. Prepare semi-annual developmental portfolio for PTM

5. Maintain a positive relationship with parents via communication app by updating them regularly on children's activities in school and addressing any concerns they have

6. Guide and supervise the Assistant Teacher in the classroom

7. Be responsible for the upkeep of teaching resources, arrangement, appearance, decorations and learning environment of the classroom

8. Work closely with colleagues and management to ensure a conducive environment for teaching and learning

9. Be familiar with all working curriculum documents, handbooks and policy manuals

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education OR Teaching: ACEY L1/L2 certified

2. Fluent in English (spoken and written) as lessons are conducted in English

3. Team-player and nurturing with a passion for teaching young children

4. Excellent interpersonal and classroom management skills
