The Active Ageing Centre Manager is responsible for leading the strategic direction and daily operations of the centre, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirement
This position is on an alternate 5.5 days work week and will be based at Whampoa.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Operations
- Develop and implement strategies that align with organizational objectives to promote active ageing within the community.
- Oversee the centre's daily activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Program Development and Implementation
- Design and execute programs that encourage physical wellness, social engagement, and overall well-being among seniors.
- Ensure that all programs meet the required standards and effectively address the needs of the elderly community.
Financial Management
- Manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
- Track, analyze, and report key performance metrics to ensure alignment with funding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), demonstrating impact and securing continued support.
Staff and Volunteer Management
- Supervise and support a team of care providers, administrative staff, and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and effective work environment.
- Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities for staff and volunteers.
Community Engagement and Partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with seniors, their families, community partners, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
- Engage in community outreach to promote the centre's programs and encourage participation.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards, including the implementation of emergency preparedness plans and regular safety audits.
- Prepare and submit reports on the centre's performance, including program outcomes and financial status, to relevant authorities and stakeholders.
Requirement
- Bachelor in relevant fields including management, social work, healthcare and other social sciences.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in program development and management
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, volunteers, and community organizations to ensures a comprehensive approach to care and support services.
- Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to the well-being and outcomes of older adults.
- Able to effectively communicate and maintain accurate documentation with older adults, their families, and other stakeholders.
