We are creating the next generation digital exchange for the trading of renewable energy certificates (RECs). We are looking for a product owner for one of our leading edge applicated targeted to smoothen out the onboarding of renewable devices and collect electricity generation data from variety of sources.

Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing user acceptance testing and ensuring the product is ready to go to market in different countries. To succeed in this role you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to both technical and non-technical users. This is a role based in Singapore, with some occasional travel needs.

Job Responsibilities

Onboarding Renewable Devices Application

• Work with market participants in the RECs ecosystems to document

requirements in the format of user stories.

• Evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering

areas for improvement, and developing and implementing

automated digital electricity generation information.

• Liaise closely with the developers, QA teams, product owners and

business stakeholders to assist in completing the necessary steps to

ensure product development success.

• Perform system analysis and make use of UML diagrams to depict

system level relationships and concepts.

• Work closely with the Operation teams for day to day administration

of the devices onboarding.

• Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing

optimization strategies.

• Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to

automate and modernize systems.

• Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.

• Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional

team members and management.

• Gathering critical information from meetings with various

stakeholders and producing useful reports.

• Performing user acceptance testing.

• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of working experience in a business analysis or

software engineering discipline.

• Past knowledge with electrical systems and data collection from

various physical devices.

• Strong written and spoken capability in English.

• Speaking and writing capability in Chinese or Spanish or Portugese

will be a plus point.

• Has strong software development background, with exposure to

agile development approach.

• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to

determine acceptable solutions.

• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

• Comfortable with working in a startup environment.

• Past working experience in Internet of Things and data engineering

discipline will be an added advantage.

• Experience with the renewable energy domain will be an added

advantage.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electricity Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or

relevant field

• 3 to 5 years relevant working experience

• Certification in Product Owner, Blockchain technology will be a plus

point.
