Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Pastry Chef/Senior Cook in the operation of the pastry/bakery/dessert department and responsible for the proper efficiency and profit functioning

• To ensure the quality of merchandise prepared in the bakery/dessert kitchen

• Able to Listen, Learn and Train, seek advancement in knowledge through experience

• Follow staff duty roster and job assignment where required

• Maintain the upkeep and cleanliness of the kitchen

• Comfortable working with the "KING OF FRUITS"

• Adhere to the company's standards in food hygiene and safety practices in the kitchen area

• Assist in the preparation and production of the company's products (baking and decorating of cupcakes, whole cakes and/or cookies, tarts, choux pastry, oriental desserts preparation of ingredients, setting up of baking utensils and equipment, & packing the products for delivery)

• Determine with the Senior Pastry Chef/Senior Cook on the quality and quantity of food material to be purchased and prepared for all menus

• Maintain a proper food costing on all merchandise utilized to minimize food wastage

• Check all 'mis-en-plus' and quality of merchandise prepared in the bakery room

• Ensure that the pastry/bakery department and facilities are conformed to sanitary regulations and baking equipment and refrigerator are properly kept and cleaned

• Ensure proper storage of all perishable material accordingly to the First-in-First-Out Policy

• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Nitec/Diploma in Pastry and Baking or Culinary Arts

Fresh Graduates welcomed to Apply

• Singaporeans/PR Preferred to Apply

• Able to learn and adapt swiftly

• Able to work individually as well as efficiently in a team

• Able to present a positive and professional attitude at all time

• Able to adapt with the fun-loving and mischievous brand ethos.

• Must be able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

• 5 days work week, Wednesday to Sunday, 8am-5pm
