Job Description

The Blue Pocket (TBP) is looking for a Brand and Sustainability Manager to join our fast growing team and company. The primary focus of this role is to oversee all aspects of clients' brand marketing as well as ensuring that all branding decisions align with the clients' overall company strategy and maintaining a consistent brand image across all communications channels. The candidate is also responsible for developing and implementing strategies to minimise our environmental impact by analysing our operations and driving our company towards a more sustainable future.

Job Responsibilities

  • Creative Concept Development: Support the development of creative concepts and designs for all branding and marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with the brand's vision.
  • Manage marketing campaigns: Oversee the development and results of marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct market research: Learn about the target audience and how they interact with the brand.
  • Create messaging: Develop messaging and communication strategies to promote the brand.
  • Understand public perception: Understand how the public views the brand.
  • Work with other teams: Collaborate with research, content, social, and design teams.
  • Support on projects: Support and supervise the team from project implementation to execution and completion.
  • Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and building relationships with potential clients.
  • Environmental Impact Assessment: Analyse The Blue Pocket's current environmental footprint by tracking energy consumption, waste generation, water usage, and carbon emissions to identify areas for reduction.
  • Sustainability Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy aligned with The Blue Pocket's overall goals, including measurable targets and action plans.
  • Operational Improvements: Identify and implement operational changes to reduce environmental impact, such as energy efficiency upgrades, waste reduction initiatives, and sustainable procurement practices within The Blue Pocket.
  • Employee Training and Awareness: Design and deliver sustainability training programs to educate employees about environmental issues and promote eco-friendly practices within The Blue Pocket.
  • Innovation and Research: Explore new technologies and sustainable solutions to continuously improve The Blue Pocket's environmental performance.

Skills and Requirements
  • Marketing and branding expertise: Understand how to create and manage a brand.
  • Research and analysis skills: Conduct market research to understand the target audience.
  • Design skills: Understand layout, colours, and other design elements.
  • Social media expertise: Familiarity with digital marketing, social media campaigns, and community engagement is a plus.
  • Communication skills: Strong interpersonal and communications skills, business level English required.
  • Sales and financial management skills: Understand how sales and financial management impact the brand.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and develop data-driven sustainability strategies.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in Brand Marketing.
