Overview:

Seeking a Pre-sales Director that has enterprise level software solutions experience with strong understanding of Supply Chain Planning Processes and Manufacturing Planning processes, as well as, is adept in architecting technologies needed to help companies leverage their supply chain as a competitive advantage.

Scope:

Blue Yonder is seeking a Pre-sales Director that can manage our Principal Solution Advisor team in Manufacturing and Supply Chain Planning. The Pre-sales Director will collaborate with the sales team and customers to position our capabilities to solve customers and prospects needs in this domain. This role requires extensive knowledge in the Manufacturing Supply Chain Planning across all various industries {Automotive, High Tech, CPG/F&B and Industrials} and deliver superior results that support our clients' strategic objectives. This individual will be a player/coach role.

What you'll do:

• Manage and coach the team on the solution positioning to our customers and prospects validating that they drive business outcome and call out the Blue Yonder key differentiators.

• Create performance plans and provide constructive feedback to the team to enhance their skills and widen their knowledge within this domain.

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to create the account strategy, develop a solution blueprint, build a business case, and present the solution.

• Collaborate extensively with a broad ecosystem within Blue Yonder, which includes all levels of the Sales organization, Product Development, Professional Services, Transformation Advisory, Business Development, as well as our Partner ecosystem

• Become directly involved with potential customers via proposal requests or actively prospecting for new business opportunities.

• In collaboration with the Customer Executives presents product functionality and benefits to prospective clients.

• Demonstrates how the proposed methodology can add substantial value in replacing the client's current business environment.

• Customizes presentations to address prospective client's business needs.

• Articulates and demonstrates the value proposition of Blue Yonder solutions and multiple product sets to the prospective client.

What you'll need:

• 10+ years of industry, consulting services and/or pre-sales manufacturing planning and supply chain experience

• Experience managing a dynamic, talented and driven team

• High energy, self-starter comfortable with ambiguity in entrepreneurial environments

• Outstanding interpersonal abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to see and present 'the big picture' - and solve to customer problems, and uncover business challenges through analysis and develop custom solutions

• Positive, service-oriented personality

• Strong presentation skills, comfortable with varying sized audiences

• Ability to convey industry trends and support messaging with data

• Experience in SaaS deployment; Pre-Sales experience with SaaS solutions preferred

• Team oriented with collaborative attitude and approach

• PowerPoint expertise and ability to use this and other tools to tell a story that's engaging and demonstrates the value add to clients and customers

• Willingness to jump in wherever needed to support the company, the team and our customers

• Flexible nature and willingness to adjust to shifting priorities

• Resiliency and healthy completive nature; an ability to go all in on a project and bounce back and go forward, win or lose.

• Willingness to travel - 50%.
