Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Associate Professor Zhang Chun on theory developments and computer experiments for nonequilibrium quantum systems under a project on ab initio modelling of nonequilibrium quantum systems: Beyond linear response regime.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
1. Development of computational theories for modelling systems in steady state nonequilibrium.
2. Implement the developed theories into widely used computational packages.
3. Computer simulations based on the developed computational package for nonequilibrium phenomena such as quantum electron transport, thermoelectric effects and electrochemistry etc.
Qualifications
• Qualifications / Discipline: PhD in computational physics, chemistry or materials science.
• Skills: i) Familiar with nonequilibrium quantum statistics; ii) Experienced in development of computational packages and iii) Good writing skills for scientific papers.
• Experience: Have research experiences in quantum electron transport, thermoelectric effects and electrochemistry.
