As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Payroll Processing: Handle monthly payroll runs, including wage, overtime, and deductions, as well as ad-hoc payments like festival advances and annual wage supplements.
- Record Keeping: Maintain time & attendance records, verify HR advice, and ensure accurate payroll reporting.
- Team Management: Oversee daily operations, prioritize workloads, and approve plans for the payroll team; assist in recruiting, training, and staff development.
- Policy and Compliance: Update payroll guidelines and procedures, ensure adherence to financial systems, and manage reporting requirements (e.g., IRAS).
- Financial Oversight: Verify financial transactions and support posting in finance systems.
- General Support: Address internal and external inquiries and handle additional duties as required.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in any field of studies.
- Minimum 5 years' of relevant working experiences.
- Experienced in leading a team of 5 to 10 will be preferred.
- Good knowledge with SAP system.
- High degree of detail and accuracy in all areas of work.
