The role

The Clinic Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Hua Mei Acupuncture and TCM Centre (HMAC) and lead the clinical staff in delivering excellent patient care.

Responsiblities:

1. Staff Management

• Lead, train, and motivate small team of staff (3 pax) to deliver excellent service to patients and provide effective support to physicians.
• Schedule and assign tasks to employees, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
• Regular staff progress review and conduct annual staff appraisal
• Resolve conflicts and foster a positive, team-oriented work environment

2. Marketing & Outreach

• Coordinate with the marketing team to promote the clinic's services, service packages, and events
• Work with physicians to help raise public education and awareness on TCM
• Build partnerships with local businesses, insurance providers, and community organizations to expand the clinic's network
• Help physicians/ clinic to optimize client capacity so the Acupuncture Clinic is financially self-sustaining

3. Work with internal and external stakeholders

• Internal stakeholders: Physicians, clinic staff, Chief Medical Officer and Clinical Leadership Team
• External stakeholders: Patients, herbs vendors/ TCM medicine suppliers, partnerships with local businesses, insurance providers, and community organizations

Job Requirements:

• Possess a bachelor's/ diploma degree; business management, administration, healthcare or social work related field preferred
• A valid state registered nursing certificate or a nursing background would be an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field with at least 3 years of healthcare administration / administrative portfolio
• Personal Quality / Technical Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, Attributes/Attitudes)
• Have an interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
• Familiarity with TCM principles and practices to align with the clinic's mission
• Proficient in English and Mandarin (read and write), and able to conversant in common dialects to communicate with the elderly.
• Good presentation, team building and networking skills
• Strong administrative experience
• Problem-Solving: Quick and effective resolution of operational and patient-related issues
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with patients, staff, and external partners
• Organization: Exceptional multitasking and time management abilities
• Work diligently and closely with Physicians, nurses and all clinic staff to deliver timely and professional services, and to ensure compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements
• IT and Software Proficiency - Proficiency in office software like Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for administrative tasks
• Analytic skill - basic data analysis and decision making

Clinic operating hours:

- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8.30am to 6pm
- Tuesday 10am to 7.30pm
- Saturday 8.30 to 5pm
