Role and Description

• Takes care of clients and their daily nursing needs
• Support clients in participating in daily programme activities
• Support Lead Nurse in daily organisational needs and care plans

Know-how

• Nursing education, knowledge and training
• Knowledge on supporting the functional ability and well-being of an elderly person
• Knowledge on Geriatric care or for peopler with neurocognitive disorders (e.g. dementia)
• Know-how in bedside care and personal care
• Know-how in vital signs taking and monitoring
• Maintaining nursing supplies inventory by recording usage; anticipating needed supplies and requisitions
• Promote patient's independence by establishing patient care goals
• Teaching and counseling patient and family members. Reinforcing their understanding of disease, medications, and self-care skills
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by supporting the Lead Nurse to implement and update procedures, rules, and regulations
• Risk management in nursing
• Customer safety
• Support in the implementation of nursing and service plans
• Adhere to all administrative activities
• Follow all processes, procedures and guidelines
• Carry out other tasks assigned by the Centre Manager/ Lead Nurse
