Responsibilities
• Manage the full spectrum of day-to-day finance and accounts operations, including overseeing accounting processes, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses for both internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor financial performance, provide strategic recommendations, and drive process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy
• Liaise with IRAS on tax matters, ensure timely submission of corporate tax, GST, and other statutory filings, and proactively monitor regulatory changes to optimize tax strategies
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures that align with company objectives and local regulations through necessary automation or digitalization
• Oversee cash flow management to ensure financial stability and optimize operational efficiency
• Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions, exploring financing opportunities when necessary
• Drive financial system improvements, including ERP optimization, to enhance automation and data accuracy
• Lead and develop the finance team to enhance professional capabilities and ensure efficient operations
• Develop strategic financial plans based on company performance analysis and forecasts
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor as necessary
Qualifications
• Possesses a degree in accounting, business, economics, finance or a related field, preference will be given to candidates with ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, with hands-on experience in full financial management
• Strong understanding of Singapore's financial and tax regulations, with experience liaising with IRAS
• Experience in corporate financing and capital management is a plus
• Strong leadership skills with experience independently managing full financial functions
• Understanding of data privacy standards
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must be detail-oriented and willing to take on hands-on financial operations when necessary
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
• Proficient in financial and accounting software such as SAP, Xero, and Excel
