- Primary lead in APAC for the Markets Operations team who partners with operations global leadership and regional business leads to deliver solutions for our clients
- Lead the various Markets Operations teams in their daily operations and ensure that all transactions are managed and settled correctly and completely on value date
- Liaise across the business, including Sales and Relationship managers to meet client needs and deliver ad-hoc queries and pre-trade preparation and documentation
- Participate in the readiness and launch of new clients and funds
- Identify and undertake initiatives to improve operational efficiency and enhance customer service standards
- Partner with the businesses to deliver all new products and product improvements
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, control and compliance requirements stipulated by Company policies
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements including the timely submission of regulatory reports
- Ensure that areas of non-compliance highlighted by the internal and external auditors as well as compliance officers are followed up promptly and all staff are briefed accordingly to prevent recurrence
- Review the submission of management and statutory reports
- Ensure that all relevant control measures are properly enforced to meet internal and external audit standards
- Reinforcing standards of quality and productivity for the service levels require by internal and external clients (benchmarking, KRI's, Service Level Report cards)
- Proactively stay aligned with market and regulatory developments affecting Markets
Qualifications
- Degree or professional qualification in a related discipline
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in the settlement of Global Markets products - FX, Securities Finance and FIEQ
- Sound knowledge and experience in regional Asian countries would be an advantage.
- Must have good analytical and problem solving skills and ability to work independently and with integrity
- Experience leading a team with strong leadership and communication skills
