1. MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP
- Oversee departmental budgeting and expenditure to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals while maintaining compliance with company policies, HR practices, and industry standards.
- Develop structured career pathways to support staff development and progression.
- Supervise, guide, coach, and mentor staff to enhance their professional competencies.
- Lead and facilitate inter-departmental meetings and collaborations.
- Represent the department in key discussions, meetings, and presentations.
- Manage disciplinary matters concerning staff and residents when necessary.
- Support the Head of Home in achieving organizational objectives and act as a representative in their absence.
2. STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES (SOPS)
- Develop, review, and oversee all SOPs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ministry guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to licensing and regulatory standards through effective oversight.
3. REPORTING & COMPLIANCE
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly and quarterly reports for approval.
- Guide staff in preparing and reviewing incident management reports.
- Assist in preparing documentation for audits and ministry compliance.
4. INCIDENT MANAGEMENT
- Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies to manage resident behavior effectively.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on incident response protocols.
- Analyze past incidents to refine management strategies, prevent recurrence, and implement proactive measures to mitigate future risks.
5. EXTERNAL ENGAGEMENT & NETWORKING
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with government agencies, law enforcement bodies (SPF, CNB, SSB, MSF), and other key stakeholders.
- Foster strategic partnerships to enhance resident management and support systems.
