Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of private education regulations and experience in audit and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance & Audits
- Ensure the institution's compliance with EduTrust, SSG, and CPE regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and prepare for external regulatory audits.
- Identify compliance gaps, propose corrective actions, and ensure timely implementation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and advise management on necessary adjustments.
Policy Development & Implementation
- Develop, review, and update policies and procedures to align with compliance requirements.
- Ensure all staff understand and adhere to regulatory and internal compliance policies.
- Assist in implementing risk management strategies to mitigate compliance risks.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, audit findings, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit reports to relevant regulatory bodies in a timely manner.
- Ensure policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and manuals are current and accessible.
Stakeholder Coordination & Training
- Act as a liaison between the compliance department and other internal teams (e.g., marketing, admissions, and administration) to align compliance with business operations.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance matters, including EduTrust and SSG frameworks.
- Collaborate with local and international partners to ensure compliance with joint educational programs.
Operational Compliance & Strategic Planning
- Oversee the planning and management of the school timetable and calendar to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support student disciplinary processes and ensure adherence to institutional policies.
- Work with leadership to integrate compliance strategies into institutional planning and operations.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Law, Finance, Education Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a compliance, audit, or regulatory role within private education, training centers, or a similar industry.
- Proven understanding of EduTrust, SSG, CPE, and other regulatory requirements within the private education sector.
- Experience in ISO standards and financial compliance is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of audit and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and training staff.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with different departments.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and compliance management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a private education institution with EduTrust certification.
- Certification in Compliance, Risk Management, or Audit-related fields is a plus.
- Familiarity with Singapore's regulatory landscape for private education.
