Position Summary:
BIM (Building Information Modelling) Modeler act as collaborators between the client's team, design team and internal technical team. As a BIM Modeler, you will oversee the production of project information models which contain 3D visualisations that bring together data, drawings and schedules associated with the design and construction phase of a project.
BIM Modeler Duties and Responsibilities
BIM Modeler Requirements and Qualifications
• At least 3 years of relevant BIM local project experience with certification in BIM Management and proven experience in an architectural, engineering or construction-based role
• Diploma/ degree in Engineering, Architectural, Building Services or other relevant qualification; and
• Experience in BIM Modelling coordination, collaboration, model review, quantity take off, file sharing and management
• Must have good understanding of the Singapore Construction Industry regulations and latest version of Singapore BIM Guidelines
• A Modeler Diploma in BIM would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and technical knowledge in BIM management as well as construction management will be an advantage for this post. Meticulous with an eye for details and able to communicate with people at all levels;
• Proficient in Revit, Navisworks and other similar BIM software in Architectural / Structural / MEP. Good knowledge in BIM visualisation and simulation applications.
• Strong organisational, administrative and interpersonal skills;
• Self-driven, resourceful and a team player

Position Summary:

BIM Modeler Duties and Responsibilities
- Acting as the intermediary between designers, clients and architects so that projects remain efficient and effective
- Working closely with BIM coordinators, who are responsible for producing project information models
- Ensuring that BIM execution plans are produced and maintained for each project
- Supporting and auditing the project team and flagging non-compliances
- Training or upskilling colleagues in specific software programmes
- Ensuring staff have access to the tools and equipment they need
- Overseeing the purchase of workstations so that hardware is sufficient and effective
- Producing monthly reports for senior managers, to identify and measure BIM implementation
- Keeping up-to-date with advancements in building technology
- Driving the implementation of digital information plans and strategies
- Leading meetings to identify project tasks and resolve issues
- Supporting the career development, coaching and mentoring of a team of staff
- Raising the profile of BIM within across departments and teams
- Adhering to the latest industry standards.
- Prepare BIM execution plans and project specific training documentation.
- Proficient in using BIM authoring tools to provide technical support and mentoring required to the project team.
- Manage and maintain project content and source any additional content as required.
- Understand and ensure any changes in procedure and standards are effectively communicated to project teams.
- Coordinate and manage BIM project data sets/workflow and project set up.
- Communicate effectively and offer cross-team support.
- Set up linked models and coordinate models across disciplines.
- Daily model management administration and maintenance.
- Understand and execute government standards by implementing during virtual design and construction phase.
- Ability to use Autocad as and when project require
