JOB SUMMARY

As the Assistant Banquet Manager at Raffles Sentosa, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless banquet operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will support the Banquet Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing events while maintaining the highest standards of service. Your leadership will contribute to the efficiency and success of the banquet team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Assist in overseeing all banquet operations, ensuring high service standards and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with clients, event planners, and internal departments to execute seamless events.
• Supervise banquet staff, providing training, guidance, and motivation to uphold service excellence.
• Monitor event setups, service flow, and breakdowns to maintain operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Manage banquet inventory, including equipment, supplies, and linen, to optimize costs and minimize wastage.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly to enhance overall experience.
• Support budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization efforts.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE

• Prior experience in banquet operations or F&B service, preferably in a luxury hospitality setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
