About the Role

As a Quantitative Researcher, you will leverage statistical methods, machine learning techniques, AI, and big data to uncover insights, enhance decision-making and optimize strategies. You will collaborate closely with a broad spectrum of domain experts such as traders, data-scientists, developers, and senior business stakeholders in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, test and validate quantitative models to drive decision-making in domains such as:
  • Detecting market manipulation.
  • Detecting malicious client activity attempting to utilize loopholes in complex trading environments.
  • Trading and hedging strategies, both low and high frequency.
  • Portfolio management and investments optimization.
• Implement models in live trading and decision-making systems in collaboration with developers, IT operations and other key stakeholders.
• Conduct research on a broad array of domains such as financial markets dynamics, trading strategies, hedging strategies, client behaviour, and investments.
• Work with big data to uncover business insights from large data sets.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong academic background in mathematics, statistics, computer science, finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, R, C++, or other quantitative programming languages.
• Experience in quantitative research, data analysis, or algorithmic trading.
• Solid understanding of machine learning, AI, time-series analysis, and statistical modelling.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex datasets.
• A detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced environment.
