World's largest bunkering port of MAJOR Energy & Commodities with more than 200 ships transporting it's cargo of crude oil daily is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marine Technical Superintendent to join their dynamic team.

Role Summary:

The Marine Technical Superintendent will be responsible for the technical and safety management of their fleet of bunker tankers, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Management:Oversee all technical aspects of vessel operations, including planned maintenance, repairs, and servicing.
  Conduct regular vessel inspections to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  Manage dry-docking operations and supervise major repairs.
  Conduct damage surveys and prepare detailed reports, cost estimates, and accounts.
  Ensure the maintenance and compliance of all safety equipment.
• Regulatory Compliance:Liaise with Class Surveyors and regulatory authorities to ensure vessel compliance with all applicable regulations.
  Develop and implement procedures to meet new regulatory requirements.
  Ensure ship is able to fulfill all regulations.
• Budget Management:Prepare and monitor budgets for vessel maintenance and repairs, reporting on variances.
• Personnel Management:Advise and support the Master and Chief Engineer on maintenance and operational matters.
  Report on sea-going personnel performance to the Technical Manager.
  Liaison officer and trainer for Cadet officer from Singapore Polytechnic.
• Project Management:Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
  Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Communication and Reporting:Provide regular reports to the Technical Manager on vessel performance and maintenance activities.
  Ensure clear and efficient communication between vessels and shore-based teams.

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Competency (COC) Class 1 or 2, with sailing experience on oil tankers.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Technical Superintendent in ship management.
