Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our Singapore-based team in the precious metals recycling industry. This role involves overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and accounting standards, and delivering precise financial reports.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage daily financial operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
• Prepare and analyze financial management reports to support decision-making.
• Oversee month-end and year-end financial closings and audits.
• Generate, review, and improve inventory reports, ensuring seamless reconciliation between Deskera and Excel systems.
• Review and approve financial submissions for accuracy and compliance.
• Handle GST reporting, audits, taxation, and annual surveys.
• Monitor and maintain cash flow for optimal liquidity.
• Review and process payment requests to trade creditors promptly.
• Compile and analyze Trader Profit & Loss statements.
• Track and report data from various trading platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent professional qualification.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• At least 5 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in the precious metals or commodity trading industry.
• Expertise in preparing management accounts, with strong proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
• Knowledge of currency hedging is highly advantageous.
