Responsibilities
Requirements
- To oversee the safety of swimmers and prevent injuries by providing supervision to the area at regular intervals
- To ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the Swimming Pool Complex including student water sports clubs training, school / department activities
- To inform users when necessary to abide by the rules and regulations of the Swimming Pool responsible for locking and unlocking the premises
- Lifeguard on duty must conduct equipment and facility check prior to the opening and closing of the swimming pool to ensure that all lifesaving / necessary equipment is present and functional. e.g. lifebuoys, poles, start off boards, pool tiles.
Requirements
- Lifeguard on duty must be at least 21 years of age.
- At least Bronze Medallion in Lifesaving
- First Aid / CPR / AED Certification (Valid Certificate)
