Your responsibility as Production Chemistry is the technical authority on the use of chemicals in the production system, including the well. Production Chemistry sits on the boundaries of development, wells and production functions - representing production's interests to the other disciplines. It aspires to be the integrator for delivering wells and production.

To perform all batch and periodic Lubricant testing in accordance with GPC requirement

Preparation of samples for testing according to work instructions and international test methods.

• Execute testing timely to meet production plan
• Data entry of results into GSAP and excel files
• Perform equipment standardization when required
• Review and approves result prior to release for production

To perform all batch and periodic Grease testing in accordance with GPC requirement

• Preparation of samples for testing according to work instructions and international test methods.

Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of the Laboratory.

• Ensure consumables are top up after use
• Keep workstation clean after completing work

Perform blend correction for monograde products

• Performing trial blend adjustment
• Calculate adjustment for off spec blends
• Issue and approve calculated blend adjustment sheet

Manage inventories of accessories / chemicals required for equipment

• Update chemical inventory after use
• Make purchases for consumable with suppliers
• Tally and check ordered consumables upon receiving
• Oversee/handle gas cylinder replenishment

Prepare testing standards and chemical reagents

• Perform dilution for standard preparation
• Weighing of solid chemical for reagent preparation

Perform SQC on equipment

• Run SQC samples on test equipment before proceeding use for production
• Perform corrective action if equipment does not meet SQC requirement

Perform scheduled validation on equipment

• Adhere strictly to validation cycles of various test equipment
• Troubleshoot if validation result does not meet requirement

Able to perform incoming checks on baseoil and additives

• Compare supplier COA results against GPC specification
• Perform GPC test requirement for base oil and bulk additive
• Communicate with logistic team on managing the incoming empty packaging

Preparation of finished product COA for customer

• Generating COA from GSAP
