Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre is looking for an Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager who is responsible for leading the hotel's Quality and Continuous Improvement (QCI) philosophy within the limits of the policies and procedures of the hotel and IHG

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Be familiar with the brand standards and audit requirements.
  • Know the QEM portal functionality.
  • Identify the hotel's gaps
  • Be familiar with all Quality & Continuous tools, methodologies, training and IHG resources that
  • drive improvement in the Guest Experience metrics and how to use them; these include TQM process improvement and I-Series tools, problem resolution, action planning, Ideas Library, Hotel Solutions etc.
  • Provide data-driven and insightful recommendations to GM / department heads on improving Guest Experience:
  • Using a variety of formal and informal communications channels, ensure hotel employees are engaged and understand the hotel's Guest Experience quadrant metrics and results:
  • Drive submission and ensure execution of relevant action plans for both brand compliance and guest love.
  • Facilitate / lead hotel project teams in continuous improvement initiatives using TQM / I-Series methodologies.
  • Actively drive sharing of process breakthroughs and transfer of best practices among IHG hotels through Ideas Library / Hotels Solutions and working with IHG Asia Australasia Quality and Continuous Improvement teams.
  • Carry out any other tasks/duties as requested by the General Manager

What We Need From You
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Details-oriented and organized
  • Good communications skills, with the ability to communicate in different ways to different employees
  • Ability to build good working relationships with different employees and cluster network
  • Ability to overcome resistance to change
  • Good understanding of continuous improvement tools and / or hotel operations
  • Well-versed in Excel, Word and Powerpoint, with advanced skills in Excel preferred
