Joining the Company as Legal Counsel where you will play a key role in overseeing legal matters and supporting compliance initiatives. Reporting to the CEO, you will work closely with internal teams to ensure regulatory adherence, manage legal risks, and safeguard business interests.

Job Scope

• Represent the company in dispute resolution and mediation proceedings
• Manage litigation processes in collaboration with external legal counsel
• Provide legal advice on corporate, regulatory, and commercial matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements
• Act as the Data Protection Officer (DPO), ensuring compliance with relevant laws
• Support compliance functions, including investigations and audits
• Assist the CEO with legal guidance and risk management
• Drive legal and compliance-related projects and initiatives

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Law
• 3-5 years of legal experience (retail industry background preferred)
• Exposure to corporate legal compliance, Singapore Customs, HSA, SPF, or SFA regulations is an advantage
• Experience in investigation techniques is a plus
• Strong communication, writing, and analytical skills
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
• Proactive, independent, and a strong team player
