Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee and optimize our operations in the Chemical sector. The COO will play a crucial role in driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic growth while ensuring seamless execution of business processes. The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in engineering, science, or technology and be well-versed in financial management, supply chain operations, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and cost management to maintain profitability.
• Analyze financial metrics, profit margins, and operational costs to drive efficiency.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
• Manage supply chain, inventory control, logistics, order processing, and procurement.
• Strengthen supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective sourcing and smooth operations.
• Optimize processes to enhance efficiency, reduce operational risks, and improve overall output.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, customer service, and backend operations.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure proper training and development of staff to enhance productivity.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement strategic solutions.
• Address industry-specific challenges, including safety, regulatory compliance, and supply chain disruptions.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard business continuity.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior operational or leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams across multiple functions.
• Deep understanding of engineering applications relevant to the industry.
• Strong financial knowledge, including budgeting, financial metrics, and cost control.
• Proficiency in supply chain management, logistics, and inventory control.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier negotiations.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic growth plans.
