Our client is headquartered in Japan and operates and promotes its business through 5 business segments: Japan, United States, Europe, Asia & Oceania. They composed of 3 business domains of Industrial Gases, Electronics, Thermos and operates a medical business as a sub-segment under the Industrial Gas domain.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the Assistant Vice President, Finance on overseeing the financial management reporting of the SEA & India group companies.

Work Location: Jurong East

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate SEAI Group and Company post-closing analysis monthly, quarterly, yearly management reporting and presentation materials
• Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting historical and current financial data of Company and Group performance with detailed financial status reports
• Assisting Assistant Vice President with the following:

1. Collate Group companies monthly reporting package for monthly management P&L review.
2. Quarterly forecasting process for SEAI group companies
3. Prepare annual budget preparation for SEAI group companies
4. Working capital management for SEAI group companies
5. Assist, develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor business performance
6. Collaborate with group companies to ensure accurate reporting
7. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and maintaining the integrity of financial data
8. Other ad-hoc duties assigned by Assistant Vice President, Finance

The ideal candidate should possess

• Degree in Accounting & Finance
• At least 3-4 years in financial accounting with experience in financial analysis
• Familiar with taxation and regulations in the region
• Good working knowledge of IFRS, Consolidation, Taxation
• Good SAP knowledge
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and financial software
• Good interpersonal skill
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills, both written and spoken
• Ability to interact with region teams and cross functional teams
• Ability to work independently and inter-dependently
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
