Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and cook high-quality Italian dishes, ensuring consistency and excellence.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain our restaurant's standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and specials.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Monitor kitchen equipment and report any maintenance needs.
  • Participate in menu planning and cost control measures.

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of culinary experience with a focus on Italian cuisine.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
