Monitoring inventory levels to avoid overstocking or shortages.
Ensuring proper storage and organization of goods.
Conducting regular stock checks and cycle counts.
Using inventory management software to track inventory. - Receiving and Dispatching Goods:Receiving deliveries and verifying against purchase orders.
Checking goods for damage or discrepancies.
Preparing goods for dispatch, including packing and labeling. - Record Keeping:Maintaining accurate records of transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.
Updating inventory databases or systems.
Preparing reports on stock levels and consumption patterns. - Other Duties:Maintaining a clean and organized storage area.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Assisting with other warehouse or store operations as needed.
Coordinating with suppliers and other departments. - Skills:Strong organizational skills.
Attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with inventory management software.Basic math skills.
