Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct detailed analyses of power and water rates across PDG's operational and aspirational markets, considering their impact on PDG's Scope 1 and Scope 2 net zero goals.
- Contribute to the development of the annual ESG report on energy, water and other relevant areas.
- Assess sustainability considerations, including carbon intensity, renewable energy availability, water efficiency, and alignment with climate-conscious cooling commitments.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and pr sentations to communicate findings, support decision-making, and track progress towardsustainability goals.
Policy Engagement:
- Monitor, analyze, and report on energy, water, and environmental policies impacting PDG's operations and aspirations, with a focus on enabling first-of-a-kind solutions for the carbon-free transition.
- Support PDG representatives in discussions with policymakers, regulators, and industry groups to advocate for favorable policies and regulatory frameworks that align with PDG's business growth,sustainability and innovation goals.
- Develop industry policy papers for submission to relevant policymakers across markets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide insights on policy trends and their implications for business operations.
Strategic Initiatives:
- Support cross-functional teams in evaluating market entry strategies by integrating utility rate and policy analysis.
- Provide inputs for sustainability and net-zero strategies in alignment with PDG's corporate goals, including climate-conscious cooling and carbonfree transition initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of metrics and targets for energy efficiency, water use, and carbon reduction that drive industry-leading performance.
- Develop environment and energy related case studies in collaboration with relevant internal teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Policy, Energy Management, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in energy policy, environmental analysis, or a related role, preferably in the data centre or utility sectors.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with policy frameworks, utility rate structures, and sustainability trends in the APAC region.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
