Job Description
The main responsibilities of the position include:
(i) Co-ordinate and teach courses in our B. Pharm. (Hons) programme;
(ii) Support the design, optimization and conduct of practical classes in the undergraduate programmes;
(iii) Adaptation of course materials towards blended learning;
(iv) Support the design, optimization and co-ordination of experiential learning in the undergraduate programmes;
(v) Support course coordinators in managing communication and administrative needs of courses;
(vi) Support department-led pedagogical research.
Qualifications
Qualifications / Discipline:
Candidates must possess either a Master's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree, and are either registered or eligible for registration as Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
The specific areas of expertise we are currently looking for include knowledge and practical skills in aspects of pharmacy and pharmacy practice.
Skills:
Candidates should be able to deliver large class teaching or small class facilitation, teaching pharmacy practice skills including medication reconciliation, medication review, dispensing, patient counselling, managing minor ailments, and providing drug information.
Candidates with the proficiency in creating online contents and improving user interface will be considered favourably.
Experience:
Prior experience in teaching or mentoring students (especially in Institutes of Higher Learning) will be considered an advantage.
