Responsibilities

The Finance Manager will lead the Finance team in the general accounting and financial management responsibilities of Tee Up. He/She will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

The Finance Manager will serve as a pivotal figure in Tee Up, spearheading all financial activities to ensure the integrity, compliance and strategic alignment of Tee Up's financial operations. The role demands a combination of analytical prowess, leadership acumen and regulatory fluency to navigate the complexities of modern finance.

Key responsibilities include:

• lead and manage the full spectrum of financial reporting and management accounting functions which includes providing timely, relevant and accurate reporting and analysis of the Tee Up's performance;

• lead and implement process improvement points for the Finance team's Standard Operating Procedures to ensure current business processes are compliant with corporate policies and regulatory requirements;

• plan, manage and forecast operational cashflow and budget;

• review monthly closing reports;

• prepare annual financial statements;

• lead annual and monthly budgeting and forecasting processes;

• file quarterly GST and annual corporate tax returns;

• plan and coordinate annual audit;

• identify opportunities to improve business processes and implement such new processes; and

• perform all other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

This position requires at least five years of relevant working experience. Other key requirements include:

• proven managerial experience;

• a degree in Accountancy or ACCA or equivalent, with a preference for Chartered Accountant Singapore;

• comprehensive understanding of SFRS(I), GST and local tax requirements;

• detail-oriented with the ability to translate findings into understandable and actionable recommendations;

• an entrepreneurial and self-driven personality;

• strong verbal and written communication skills;

• initiative and good decision-making skills;

• strategic and analytical thinking skills;

• good IT skills, including but not limited to a working knowledge of Microsoft Office;

• working proficiency in Xero; and

• an ability to work well in a team environment.

Strong consideration will be given to candidates with an audit background. Preference will be given to candidates with professional qualifications and work experience in Big Four accounting firms.
