Job Responsibilities:

• Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols in carpentry and installation settings.
• Handle and operate hand tools (hammers, chisels, screwdrivers) and power tools (drills, saws, sanders) safely.
• Use measurement tools (tape measures, squares, levels) for accurate space assessments and furniture construction.
• Perform basic woodcutting techniques and wood joinery methods (butt joints, lap joints, dowel joints).
• Understand structural carpentry components, including wall, floor, and ceiling framing techniques.
• Execute sanding, staining, sealing, and finishing techniques for various wood applications.
• Build and install custom furniture, cabinetry, shelving, storage solutions, and functional wood structures.
• Install door and window frames, including hinges, locks, and latch mechanisms.
• Lay timber flooring, install ceiling frameworks, decorative ceiling finishes, and acoustic panels.
• Install wood panel walls, drywall partitioning, and decorative wall treatments.
• Coordinate project workflows with electricians, plumbers, and other trades for seamless execution.
• Execute precision cutting and fitting techniques for bespoke carpentry projects.
• Identify wood defects, conduct repairs, strengthen weak structures, and refinish older carpentry.
• Participate in performance evaluations, receive constructive feedback, and develop a personalized growth plan.

Requirements:

• Experience in carpentry, woodworking, or related trades.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to read technical drawings and measurements.
