Job Title: Safety Officer/ Fire Safety Officer (ID7174)
Location: Tuas (Company Transport provided from Jurong East MRT)
Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 8:30am-5:30pm; Sat 8.30am-12.30pm (work from home)
Basic Salary: $3500-$4500

Description:
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry standards
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify risks and recommend corrective measures
• Deliver safety training sessions and promote a strong safety culture among all staff
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend preventive actions
• Maintain accurate records of training, inspections, and incident investigations
• Work closely with management to design and update emergency response plans; lead regular emergency drills
• Stay up to date with current safety legislation and best practices to enhance workplace safety measures

Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• At least 1 year of experience as a Safety Officer in a biofuel, chemical processing, or similar industrial setting
• Good understanding of local safety regulations and industry standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to communicate in English and Chinese (verbal & written) to liaise with Chinese-speaking associates
• Certification in Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) or related fields is an advantage
• SCDF-registered Fire Safety Manager is a plus; salary will be adjusted accordingly
