We are seeking an experienced and strategic Category Lead to drive the growth and performance of our category team. In this role, you will collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement category strategies that enhance sales, profitability, and market competitiveness. Key Responsibilities:

• Category Strategy & Leadership: Work closely with the Commercial Director to develop and execute strategic plans that enhance category performance.
• Sales & Profitability Growth: Drive category sales, gross profit, and income targets by analyzing market trends and implementing competitive strategies.
• Inventory & Merchandising Management: Optimize inventory levels, product mix, and shrinkage reduction to align with customer demand.
• Promotional Planning & Execution: Design and implement promotional activities to increase sales and enhance customer engagement.
• Placement & Planogram Strategies: Improve product placement and store layouts to positively influence customer shopping behavior.
• Pricing & Profitability: Develop and execute competitive pricing strategies that offer value while ensuring profitability.
• Supplier & Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, discounts, and category growth opportunities.
• Project Management & Innovation: Lead special projects to address key business objectives and drive continuous improvement.
• Team Development & Leadership: Mentor and support Category Managers and Category Support Executives to achieve their targets.
• Talent Development: Identify and nurture high-potential employees for succession planning and long-term business growth.

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record in category management of FMCG products with team leadership experience.
• Strong expertise in merchandising, category management, and marketing within a customer-focused industry.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proactive approach to challenges with the ability to implement innovative solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Organized, decisive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
