Job Description

• Lead, supervise, and oversee the production team and staff to ensure smooth operations, with a keen focus on timely deliveries and upholding product quality
• Manage manpower by effectively planning, scheduling, and task assignment
• Implement Lean principles to streamline production processes, ensuring timely deliveries while managing costs
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to uphold compliance and operational efficiency
• Promptly address issues to uphold productivity and efficiency standards
• Handle recruitment, training, mentoring, and disciplinary actions as needed
• Evaluate and enhance work procedures to enhance productivity and effectiveness
• Enforce production policies and procedures to ensure consistency and quality standards
• Offer insights for strategic planning and contribute to real-time operations management systems
• Oversee product handling, storage, inventory management, and shipping processes
• Manage inventory levels of materials, Work-in-Progress (WIP), and finished products
• Track operational data and conduct budget reviews to support business planning and cost management efforts
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and conduct regular risk assessments
• Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the reporting officer

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering related discipline
• At least 5 years of production related experience
• Able to be hands-on
• Can work with a diverse group of people
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline driven environment
• Opportunities to travel overseas (optional)
• Comfortable working in Tuas and Joo Koon area

Additonal Skill Sets/Attributes

• Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment
• Diligent, self-motivated and a collaborative team player
• Good communication skill and able to write simple reports
