We are looking for an exceptional and experienced Senior Laser Safety Officer who can:
What will you bring to the team, along with your skills and capability is:
- Responsible for developing and implementing Laser Safety Program in MKS Lasers manufacturing factories.
- Accountable for implementation of written laser safety processes and policies in each laser design and manufacturing factories.
- Responsible to maintain knowledge of applicable EH&S regulations, standards and codes for Singapore, EU, US, China and Malaysia and for Lasers Manufacturing and Engineering factory compliance.
- Develop Design For Safety (DFS) protocols and compliance requirements in Laser product development process (PDP).
- Develop, deploy and review laser safety audit program in all Lasers Manufacturing and Engineering factories.
- Develop, deploy and review Laser safety training program for on boarding new hires and annual training.
- Develop, deploy and review PPE requirements for all Lasers Manufacturing and Engineering factories.
- Develop, deploy and review Laser Safety signage requirements for all Lasers Manufacturing and Engineering factories.
- Develop and publish newsletter communications for Laser Safety.
- Provide guidance for laser related safety incident evaluation and corrective actions.

- Requires a Bachelor's degree and 12 years of related experience
- Requires travelling oversea for business needs.
- Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
- Must be able to exchange accurate information
- The ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
- Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination
