The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of SASEAF Postdoctoral Fellow in Prof Lee Hiang Kwee group.

The SASEAF Postdoctoral Fellow will take on a significant role in the project involving inorganic membranes, including nanomaterial synthesis, characterization, and investigating their fundamental properties and molecular separation performances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct literature reviews
• Carry out research related activities assigned by Principal Investigator
• Disseminate research outcomes through publications in peer-reviewed journals
• Prepare reports and manage data
• Analyze experimental results and communicate findings effectively
• Train graduate and undergraduate students
• Maintain key laboratory instruments
• Perform administrative duties such as the purchase of chemicals, consumables, and coordination of collaborations.

Job Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field.
• Experience in membrane science and engineering, with a solid background in nanotechnology and membrane technology.
• Familiarity with various characterization techniques such as BET analysis, temperature-programmed desorption/reaction, gas chromatography, ion chromatography, and others.
• Strong research/publication record in membrane science or related fields.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and scientific data processing software (e.g., imageJ, Origin).
