The Institute for Digital Molecular Analytics & Science invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.

Successful candidate will work on COEs synthesis under a project on Research in Bioelectronics, organic semiconductors and anti-infective agents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and synthesis of conjugated oligoelectrolyte materials for antimicrobial, bioimaging and drug delivery applications.
  • Analyze data for scientific communication, draft manuscripts and grant applications.
  • Participate in project operation, supervision and management.


Job Requirements:
  • PhD qualification in Chemistry/Material Science and Engineering with at least 4 years of post-doc research experience.
  • With a chemistry background, skilled in chemical synthesis and purification of small molecules and polymers.
  • Understanding the molecular designs of stable open-shell organic radicals. Extensive knowledge of the functionalization and various applications of radical materials.
  • Skilled in the design of near-infrared absorbing molecules applied in organic photovoltaics, organic photodetectors, thermoelectric and photothermal conversion devices.
  • Proficient in various molecular structural characterizations and measurements, including NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, elemental analysis, HPLC, optical spectroscopy analysis, single-crystal XRD, XPS, IR, TGA, DSC, and some magnetic measurements including ESR, superconducting quantum interference device magnetometry.
