Project Title: Understanding classroom talk in the preschool classrooms

Project Introduction:

We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and analytical Research Assistant to join the project. We aim to examine classroom talk in this study.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's or equivalent degree in psychology, economics, cognitive sciences, education, linguistics, or related fields.
• Strong observational skills and keen attention to detail
• Strong data analytical skills (qualitative and/or quantitative)
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate research findings to diverse audiences.
• Enthusiasm about research in social sciences
• Strong, self-directed initiative and ability to take on challenges

Responsibilities:

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analyses
• Review and synthesize relevant research
• Organize research data, maintain research records, and document research progress
• Assist with coding of classroom talk
• Support research team in research dissemination efforts
• Other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator
