Work Dynamics - Integrated Facilities Management
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our client's campus. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both hard and soft services management, excellent client communication skills, and proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Campus Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the client's campus facilities
- Ensure all buildings and systems are functioning optimally
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all operations comply with relevant health and safety regulations
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement improvements as needed
- Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures
Hard Services Management:
- Manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
- Manage repair and renovation projects as needed
Soft Services Management:
- Oversee cleaning and janitorial services
- Manage security operations and access control systems
- Coordinate landscaping and grounds maintenance
- Supervise reception and mail room services
- Manage projects and moves
Client Reporting:
- Prepare and present regular reports on facility performance metrics
- Conduct client meetings to discuss campus needs and improvements
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and concerns
Data Analysis:
- Collect and analyze data on energy consumption, maintenance costs, service levels, and other key performance indicators
- Use data insights to optimize facility operations and reduce costs
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets for both hard and soft services
- Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and train facilities staff, including both in-house and outsourced service providers
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Foster a culture of customer service excellence among all facility staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in facilities management, with demonstrated expertise in both hard and soft services
- Strong knowledge of building systems, soft services management, and service level agreements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
- Strong communication and client relationship management skills
- Experience in managing diverse teams and service providers
- Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
