We are hiring a Project Officer to support the research related work for engineering research project titled: Harnessing Randomness and Chaos in Complex Disordered Photonic Systems - WP3 Miniaturized disorder-scattering based spectrometer in the mid-infrared and Terahertz.

Key Responsibilities:

The Project Officer will work on engineering based research projects. The roles of this position include:

• System integration for the spectrometer and imaging systems
• Build up optical characterization setup and perform device characterization
• Perform the measurement of optoelectronic device
• Prepare research project reports.
• Prepare research materials/equipment purchase requisition.
• Collect and analyze research data.
• Other ad hoc duties pertaining to the research project.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Electronic Science and Technology, Optical Engineering, or other related Engineering background.
• Preferred to have more than two-years of relevant research experience.
• A desire to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
• Self-motivated and good tasks initiative.
• Strong command of office software such as Excel, power point, word etc. and be capable to plot complicated data into graphs.
• Strong team-work spirit.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
