The jobholder carries out non-invasive procedures and assists the cardiologist in specialized procedures in accordance to established standards of care and practice.

The Challenges

Responsibilities and Duties

You will be responsible for the following:

1. Set up 24-hr Ambulatory Holter/Blood Pressure monitoring for patients

2. Perform 12-lead ECG

3. Perform Signal-Averaged ECG

4. Perform 2D Echocardiography

5. Assist the doctor in:

• Dobutamine Stress Exercise

• Tilt-table Testing

• Transthoracic Esophageal Echocardiography

• Treadmill Exercise Stress Test

6. Carry out treatment and investigations prescribed by cardiologists

7. Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

8. Demonstrate clinical skills and knowledge in the delivery of patient care

9. Display compassion, positive and caring attitude towards patients, internal and external customers

10. Demonstrate proper use and care of equipment
