Roles & Responsibilities

• MOE is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to operate canteen stall in schools.
• The rental for a canteen stall ranges from $5 to $15/month during school terms. Stallholders will pay for their usage of the utilities (water, electricity and gas).
• The successful applicant must attend the Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) Food Safety Course Level 1 conducted by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)-approved training providers. Only those who pass can apply the hawker license from Singapore Food Agency (SFA) to operate the canteen stall.

Requirements

1. Must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident;
2. Able to provide food/drinks that meet the health/nutritional standards set by the Health Promotion Board (Healthy Meals in School Programme);
3. Able to provide good service and quality food/drinks at reasonable prices;
4. Must be in personal attendance at the stall during operating hours.
